The Youth Empowerment Program was created to help youths in care address issues that concern them, in a supportive environment.  The Youth Empowerment Leader, hired annually to run the program, is chosen among past clients and meets weekly with participants. The leader understands what the youths are experiencing, and works with them as they transition into independent living, a difficult process for youths in care who lack family support.
