CAMP WEREDALE
A summer camp experience is beneficial to many children. Batshaw Centres clients with few or no behavioural problems can go to existing community camps. Camp Weredale specializes in children who have such problems and need extra supervision. Staff is trained, counsellor/camper ratios are lower, and camp staff confer with Batshaw Centres staff when problems arise to help the child remain at the camp. This type of camp is more expensive to operate than camps for average kids.
