Family Emergency & Prevention

Many parents face significant challenges that make it difficult to provide a stable home environment. Mental health struggles, the challenges of settling in a new country, family violence, substance use, poverty, and other barriers can impact a child's well-being and ability to thrive at home.

Through the expertise of Batshaw's frontline staff, the Foundation provides individualized emergency support tailored to each family's needs. Assistance may include daycare payments, grocery gift cards, emergency orthodontic care, heating bills, bunk beds, school supplies, and more.

By meeting urgent needs at critical moments, we help create safer, more stable home environments, reducing the risk of family separation and giving children the opportunity to grow and thrive with their families.
