BATSHAW YOUTH AND FAMILY CENTRES FOUNDATION

The Batshaw Youth and Family Centres Foundation supports and complements the work of Batshaw Youth and Family Centres www.batshaw.qc.ca .  Batshaw Centres intervenes with children and families in situations of abuse, neglect, abandonment, and when youth have serious behaviour problems.  Services are provided in the child’s own family, in foster homes or adoptive homes, or in residential treatment programs.  All services are mandated by the Québec Youth Protection Act, the Canadian Youth Criminal Justice Act and other applicable legislation.

Batshaw Centres serves the English and Jewish communities on the Island of Montreal, as well as provides placement services to English-speaking youth from other regions in Quebec.
